Submission Timeline 

  • Accepting submissions beginning November 16, 8:00 am Central Standard Time 
  • Submissions close December 10, 5:00 pm Central Standard Time 

Eligibility 

Students enrolled in 2020 studio art courses (ARTS or ARTZ) at Eastfield College. Artwork must have been completed for courses at Eastfield Campus through virtual or face to face learning. 

Guidelines 

Every student can submit a total of two artworks. 3D artworks may be represented by up to 

two images. All artworks submitted will be accepted. 

Photographing your work

Students should make every effort to photograph their work to the best of their ability with the 

tools available to them. Images made with phone cameras, ipads and other tablets, digital 

point and shoot, and digital SLR cameras are acceptable. Some guidelines for photographing

How to Submit Your Artwork 

1. Photograph your artwork on a neutral background. Ensure that there is enough contrast between your artwork and the background. Example: Photograph a mostly white sculpture on a black or dark grey background. Submit digital and photography as created. 

2. Save your image file as a .jpg or .tiff (minimum 2MB, maximum 5MB). 

3. Email image and student student name, email, title of artwork, media (acrylic on canvas, etc.), date completed, professor name, major or field of study 4. Email submissions to IrisBechtol@dcccd.edu 

By submitting you affirm that the artwork in the images submitted is your own work and representative of the original artwork. You agree to allow Eastfield College and The Et Cetera to share images of your artwork at eastfieldnews.com and in promotions for the exhibition.
