Eastfield College Galleries is proud to present Wouldn’t it be nice…Selections from San Diego, a curatorial project by good good things featuring work by San Diego-based artists Jennifer Anne Bennett, Matthew Bradley, scott b. davis, Kelly Eginton, Steve Gibson, Matthew Hebert, John Brinton Hogan, Jim Machacek, Josh Pavlick, Don Porcella, Sasha Koozel Reibstein, Philipp Scholz Rittermann, Emily Sevier, Jason Sherry, Jones von Jonestein, Allison Wiese, Chantal Wnuk, and Joe Yorty.

How can the character of a place influence the work of an artist? What is the connectedness, if any, of work made by artists who live in the same geographical location? Wouldn’t it be nice…Selections from San Diego examines the very real, but often subtle relationship between artists who reside in the land of sunshine and sand.  good good things curators, John Oliver Lewis and Jessica McCambly have culled together a group of San Diego artists whose work, though diverse, “evokes a cohesive feeling of the San Diego collective ethos when viewed in a shared space”.

good good things is the curatorial project of artists John Oliver Lewis and Jessica McCambly that aims to support a thoughtful and dynamic, artist-driven community through select exhibitions and events. Initially, established as an exhibition space in Dallas, Texas in 2007, good good things exists today as a transitory project that is based in San Diego, California.

The H Gallery is located off the lower courtyard between the Fine Arts building (Bldg. “F”) and the Campus Center (Bldg. “C”) in H100.
